MY IDEAL HOME
a research about my concept of an ideal home which resulted in a trip into the world of the matroschka effect for

My ideal home consists of different ingredients.
Take light, colour, space and surfaces as the base for my ideal home.
Their looks change as well as my focus shifts, but what is always valid is, that light includes shadow, colour accents details, space should be flexible and surfaces various....
Put on top of this base some „things“ – as i love special objects to keep me company.
Moulded animals, porcelain mushrooms, a piece of oak from my childhood to name just a few – friends are all around.
A hint of forest should be added by building a cage for hiding and escaping – for me this is very simply my bed. Combine this with a chance for the sky to push in some air – meaning: keep it open, keep it closed – invite friends and make sure to shut the door sometimes as well.
Mix and stir all this until a weird, a little confused, yet ever so comfortable mixture evolves – and that i would dare to call my ideal home.
In the end take care of the „matroschka-effect“ – make sure that the ideal home is surrounded by another ideal home, then even another ideal home and so on and on – going from the centre which is my bed for me to the flat, to the house, the district, the city, the country, the whole environment and on and on......
